Sheltered living opportunities showcased at shopping centre

6 October 2009

Incommunities staff will be advertising a range of available sheltered homes at an information stand in the Kirkgate Shopping Centre, Bradford on Thursday, 8 October.

Details on over 30 one-bedroom flats for people aged over 55 will be displayed. Each one offers safe and secure high quality accommodation for people who value independent living with weekly rents starting from as little as £90.50 pence a week.

All Incommunities sheltered accommodation is linked to trustcare – the housing group’s 24/7 mobile response service which provides immediate assistance in the home including the emergency services if needed. This gives residents and their relatives’ valuable peace of mind that help and assistance is just a call away.

Older Person Support Workers and housing staff from Incommunities will be on hand at the stand situated in the upper mall entrance to the Kirkgate Market (9am and 4pm on Thursday, 8 Oct) to talk about the different accommodation available.

Dave Dickens, Director of Incommunities - Voids and Income, said: “We currently have vacancies in at least 10 sheltered schemes, which combines easy to manage independent accommodation with individual assistance tailored to the customers needs.

“We would urge anyone who is interested in finding out more to come along to our stand or contact us on 01274 257676.”

Anyone wishing to apply for sheltered accommodation with Incommunities must be registered with Bradford Homehunter, a choice-based lettings scheme run by Incommunities. To join simply ring 0845 166 2000 or go online at www.bradfordhomehunter.co.uk
