Thirty-four cleaning and caretaking staff with the district’s biggest social housing landlord have successfully completed a national training qualification.
The staff, who work for Incommunities’ Estate and Support Services and Buildingservices, have successfully completed NVQ Level 2 qualification in cleaning and support services. The package of training was specially developed by experts from Hull College.
The staff are responsible for cleaning and maintaining communal areas at flats, sheltered schemes, empty homes ready for reletting and other sites.
On Monday (12 July) they will be presented with their course certificates by Geraldine Howley, Incommunities Group Chief Executive.
Earlier this year, another 29 Incommunities cleaning staff achieved NVQ Level 2 passes
