    Our shared ownership scheme is aimed at helping first time buyers gain their first step up on the property ladder. The scheme offers a “part buy, part rent” arrangement to make an affordable first step.

    The scheme is also open to anyone who can demonstrate that they fulfil the eligibility criteria.

    The scheme allows you to purchase a share of the property and pay a discounted rent on the remaining share. Purchasers are only required to obtain a mortgage for the value of the share being purchased and usually the cost of the rent plus mortgage will be less than a full mortgage on the property.
