accessibility: accessibility features

To ensure that our services are available to as many people as possible, we are looking to provide information in a variety of ways including braille, audio tape, large print and community languages.

We have added various features to our website to make access easier.  You can change the text size from your browser using the AAA icon on our banner, and/or install the Browse Aloud text reader from the link on the bottom of the home page.

If  you are finding it difficult to access our services please get in touch with your local office.

If you are finding it difficult to use our website please email our webmaster.

We are working to improve access to all our services including the redevelopment of our website which we are hoping to relaunch in the summer of 2010.  In the next phase of development we will ensure where possible that documents and web pages are available in easily accessible formats.

Downloadable Documents (PDFs) - in general we provide all downloadable documents in the Adobe PDF format which we recognise may be difficult for our visually impared customers to access and view.

You can visit the Adobe website, which is not part of Incommunities, to download free tools that convert PDF files to plain text or readable formats which are compatable with text readers.  Incommunities cannot be held responsible for any problems that may arise as a consequence of you using the Adobe website and/or downloading their software on to your PC.
