19/07/10 - Trustcare review

19 July 2010

Our Trustcare monitoring and response service have produced their first annual review.

Trustcare is a 24-7 service which helps older people live independently and safely in their own home. Over 6,000 Incommunities’ residents benefit from an alarm call system linked to a 24-hour monitoring centre. We also provide the same service to 1,500 Careline customers.

The 2009/10 review includes information on how Trustcare has performed, a guide to its customer service standards and plans for the future.

It highlights that over the last 12 months:

  • our monitoring centre handled nearly 130,000 customer calls
  • Trustcare response teams attended to 7,279 call-outs
  • over 94% of urgent ‘call-outs’ were made within 30 minutes

Harry Whittle, Director of Incommunities - Estate and Support Services said: “Every member of Trustcare is committed to providing the highest possible standard of service. This includes giving our customers and their families the reassurance that help is just a call away.”
