Trustcare - 24 Hour Emergency Falls & Response Service
Trustcare offers a 24 hour monitoring and emergency mobile response service to elderly and vulnerable customers living in Incommunities designated older persons accommodation. Our aim is to provide a high quality response service that meets the care and support requirements of individuals in their own home at the time it is required.
Our Trustcare services
Telecare equipment connects you to a trained Customer Services Operator who has your personal details to hand and is able to assess what help is needed and offer immediate assistance.
Immediate assistance could include:
- giving advice
- calling the emergency services
- contacting a named relative/key holder
- calling a doctor
- arranging for the Trustcare response team to attend and provide assistance
If you have fallen, or are unable to speak to the monitoring centre the Trustcare response team are immediately dispatched to offer assistance.
All Trustcare teams are first aid qualified, have NVQ level 2 qualifications in Care and have extensive training to assist clients after experiencing a fall or other difficult situation in the home.
Non-injury falls response
The trustcare non-injury falls service provides assistance to customers who have experienced a fall, but have not sustained an injury.
Our procedures have been developed with help and advice from Yorkshire Ambulance Service and teams receive specialist training to use a range of equipment that ensures customer safety and comfort.
This service helps to prevent unnecessary calls to ambulance services and visits to Accident and Emergency Departments and reduces the distress experienced by customers following a fall.

"We carried out a review of the data available to us about Trustcare on 9th September 2021. We have not found evidence that we need to carry out an inspection or reassess our rating at this stage.
