Homes for Ukraine
The Homes for Ukraine initiative allows UK residents who have a spare room to share their home with Ukrainian refugees for a minimum of six months.
We are supporting customers with a spare bedroom who want to apply for the scheme wherever possible – please let our customer services team know if your application is successful.
Many communities where we have homes have a long and proud history of welcoming people from all over the world and by telling us we can help ensure appropriate support is available.
Sponsors (people who welcome Ukrainian refuges into their home) are eligible for a payment of £350 per month from the government for as long as the sponsorship arrangement exists, up to a total of 12 months. This payment is tax free and will not affect benefits entitlement.
