Estate Services

We want to work with you to keep where you live clean and tidy. Our Estate Services team help with this by looking after communal grass areas, the cleaning of blocks and dealing with fly tipping.

Cutting Communal Grass Areas

Cutting Communal Grass Areas

We cut communal grass areas twice a month during April and October.

Sometimes this might change because of:

  • The weather
  • Conditions of the ground
  • Bank holidays

Once the grass has been cut, we don't collect the mowed grass - this will break down on its own.

We'll do a light litter pick before we cut the grass. We want to be able to cut the grass first time but there are a few things that often mean we can't:

  • Fly tipping. If we arrive and see fly tipping, we will report the fly tipping and then come back to cut the grass when the fly tipping has been removed.

  • Dog fouling. We can't cut grass with dog poo on due to health and safety reasons.

We would like your help with keeping communal areas clear of fly tipping and dog poo so that we can keep where you live neat and tidy.

Rough Grass Areas

Rough grass areas are harder to look after and need specialist machinery to cut and maintain them. We cut these areas 4 times from April until April. Sometimes this might change because of the weather and the conditions of the ground.

Maintaining Communal Hedges and Shrubs

We will cut these back regularly throughout the year. When cutting hedges, we keep them to 5 feet or less for health and safety reasons. If a hedge is over 5 feet, we will trim it down.

Tree Maintenance

Tree Maintenance

We have an arborist team that deal with any damage that is being caused by trees and any damaged trees.

To let us know about a damaged tree, please send us the information listed below:

  1. Your name, address and a contact number.

  2. As much information as possible about the tree and the problem. This includes information like, where the tree is, for example, front/back garden, on a grass verge or a path near your home. Information about what the problem is, for example, are the branches hanging dangerously or is it causing damage to a fence or path.

  3. Photos help us see the problem so that we know how to respond. Please send us high-quality photos (using your phone will produce high-quality photos).

You can email them to us on Estate&Supp-Admin@incommunities.co.uk

Cleaning of Blocks

Cleaning of Blocks

Our teams' clean communal areas in blocks, such as stairs, lifts and corridors. In the entrance to the high rise blocks, you will find all the information about the cleaning we do and when it will happen

We want to work together to help keep these areas clean and tidy. Please help by keeping these areas tidy and please don't leave any of your belongings in communal areas.
