Estate Walkabouts
What is an Estate Walkabout
We want your neighbourhood to be clean, tidy and a pleasant place to live. Estate Walkabouts are led by your Neighbourhood Housing Officer and involve us and you, walking around your neighbourhood to look for:
- any repairs that need doing,
- any rubbish or fly tipping that needs removing
- anything else that needs doing to improve the area.
We would love for you to join us at the Estate Walkabouts so that we can work together to improve where you live.

Where else you can find the Estate Walkabout dates
We also share the Estate Walkabout dates on our social media channels, Facebook and Instagram, and on community noticeboards. Your Neighbourhood Housing Officer will be handing out leaflets and will send you a text message 3 days before the date too.
We invite other partners, like Bradford Council, to come along to the walkabouts so that we have as much help as possible.
What do you do with the information collected?
We collect the same information for all neighbourhoods so that we can easily compare results and understand what is working well and what isn't.
If we do need to make improvements, we agree actions with customers who have taken part and organise a re-inspection to take place. The inspections are recorded electronically.
