Why we sometimes need access to your home

As your landlord we have a responsibility to keep you and your home safe. One of the ways that we do this is by coming into your home to do important safety checks, maintenance work, repairs, surveys, and wellbeing checks. These visits help keep your home in good condition and prevent problems later.

Why giving us access matters

We want you to feel safe, comfortable and supported in your home. To do that, we sometimes need to visit. If we can't get in when we need to, it can lead to:

Cross Damage to your home or your neighbour's home

Cross Delays to repairs

Cross Extra costs and more disruption later

In an emergency, such as fire, flooding or a gas leak, we may need to enter your home straight away to keep everyone safe.
