STAIRs: Access to Information

STAIRs, which stands for Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements, is a new regulatory standard that gives customers of private social housing providers better access to information and greater visibility of how their landlord operates.

As part of these requirements, we are required to publish key information on our website about the decisions we make and the standards we deliver. We have published this information below.

STAIRs will also give customers of private social housing providers, information rights similar to those already available to local authority tenants under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. This part of STAIRs is not yet in force. We will update this page when this part of STAIRs comes into force in April next year and explain how you can make an information request.
