The information we hold about you

When you start a new tenancy with us, as a social housing provider, we must complete a 'CORE' form which records household ages and makeup, and other details about you.

This is a regulatory requirement; The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG) asks for this and uses it for research and statistical purposes.

We will also use this information to enable us to provide (and improve) services to you in relation to your tenancy.

You can view more information about CORE on the UK Government website.

Data Protection

We take data protection seriously. We only collect and use the personal data that we need from you (and any household members) when it is necessary for us to do so, and when the law says we can. We collect and use your personal data when you make an application with us for a tenancy, when a referral is made by you for one of our services, and when personal data is obtained during your tenancy.

Sometimes, we need help from one of our approved third parties to provide services to you or to help us meet our regulatory obligations. This means that we must share some of your personal data with them so that they can help us.

For further details about how we process your personal data and for information about your data protection rights, please visit our Privacy Notice.

Should you have any questions or wish to exercise any of your data protection rights, please contact our Data Protection Team at dataprotection.helpdesk@incommunities.co.uk
