Funding In-Communities Launches Again For 2026

Community groups across Bradford South and Bradford West are being encouraged to apply for their share of £60,000 funding through the next wave of Funding In-Communities.

Groups that would like to apply can visit our Funding In-Communities page to find out more and apply.

Applications open on Monday 10 August and close at 4pm on Friday 21 August 2026.

The funding is open to community groups and projects in Bradford South and Bradford West. This includes Tong, Queensbury, Great Horton, Wyke, Royds, Wibsey, City, Clayton and Fairweather Green, Heaton and Frizinghall, Manningham, Thornton and Allerton, and Toller.

Eligible projects may include tenant led community gardens, youth social action groups, neighbourhood wellbeing hubs, and creative arts or community food support initiatives. All aimed at strengthening wellbeing, social value, community upliftment and greener, more connected neighbourhoods.

Incommunities customers are encouraged to let local community groups know about the fund and ask them to apply.

Successful projects will be shortlisted and then put to a public vote. Winners will be announced at a celebration evening on Wednesday 14 October at Bradford Bulls stadium.

In 2027, there will be another event for community groups in Bradford East, Shipley and Keighley.

One of the groups that has previously benefited from Funding In-Communities is Beyond the Margin. Lauren Batty, Founding CEO, said: “The funding we received from Incommunities will enable us to hold weekly Storytime sessions with pre-school children and arts and crafts sessions with adults. The community will be positively impacted and will be able to participate in activities that they wouldn't normally get to do.”

Mark Beach, Director of Customer Experience at Incommunities, said: “We'd love as many community groups as possible to come forward and apply for their share of the £60,000 funding.

“There are so many brilliant community groups doing important work to support our customers. We're pleased to help them continue their inspirational efforts.

“We know there are many more amazing groups that make a real difference in our communities. We can't wait to hear from them.”
