Funding secured to help more customers have their say

Having your say about your home and services should be simple, flexible, and worth your time.

We've proud to share that we've secured funding through the Social Housing Innovation Fund which will help us to make it easier for more customers with different lived experiences to have their say.

At Incommunities, we know we don't always hear from everyone. Customers who are working, have busy lives, or come from different backgrounds can find it harder to get involved. This project is about changing that.

What this means for you

Over the next year, we'll be trying out new ways for you to share your views, including:

  • Flexible, bite-sized ways to get involved
  • Online options you can access at a time that suits you
  • Quicker ways for us to look into and respond to urgent issues
  • Local opportunities focused on your neighbourhood

We'll also work with partners like local councils and the police, so your voice can help shape services beyond just your home.

Making a real difference

This isn't just about listening, it's about making changes based on what you tell us.
Your involvement will help improve new approaches to

  • Clearer communication
  • How we respond to issue that matter to you
  • We'll also test community‑based ways for customers like you to have your say. This will give people a stronger voice on local issues, such as grounds maintenance and what's happening in their neighbourhood

By working together, we can make sure services reflect what matters most to you.

What happens next

We'll start in spring 2026 by looking at what gets in the way of people taking part. Then we'll test new ideas and approaches to see what works best for different customers.

We'll also share what we learn, so it can help improve services across the wider social housing sector too.

This is your chance to help drive changes that matter to you!
