Pets

Unfortunately, if your home has a shared communal entrance then you're not allowed to have pet cats or dogs in your home. You may be able to keep a pet that lives in a tank or cage, but please contact your Neighbourhood Housing Officer first to discuss this with them before buying the pet. 

Horses, ponies, poultry or any other livestock are not allowed at any of the homes that we provide, and this includes them being on the grassed areas of your home. 

We welcome pets that we have given you permission to keep in your home. We just ask you to be a responsible pet owner. Please respect your neighbours and people living nearby by making sure your pets aren't causing a nuisance. If we get complaints about your pets, we'll have to look into this, and it may mean that you will have to rehome your pet.
