Incommunities Group has retained its top rating in an assessment by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).

The HCA is the social housing regulator for registered housing providers with more than 1,000 homes.

This week, the organisation was delighted to hear it had maintained its V1 top marks for financial viability and G1 top rating for the way it is governed.

Geraldine Howley, Incommunities’ Group Chief Executive, said: “I am delighted that we have again achieved this top rating. This is wonderful news and particularly satisfying in the face of challenging times within the sector.

"This rating reflects the collective contribution of staff, board members and our ‘involved customers’ across the Group to work together to continue to drive up performance.

"I am proud of the high level of services we continue to provide and that our regulator recognises the high standards of governance and viability that we continue to achieve."

Jan Ormondroyd, Incommunities’ Group Chair, said: "I am delighted that our regulators have recognised our strengths and the good progress we continue to make.

"This rating provides an excellent platform to build on and take the organisation forward as we continue to work to improve our customers’ lives."
