
If the answer to both of these questions is yes, you need to check whether your meter is a Radio Teleswitch (RTS) meter, as these are being switched off on 30th June.
Homes with an RTS meter may experience issues with heating and hot water after this date , or may lose heating and hot water completely .

If your home is affected, you should already have received letters, phone calls, or emails from your electricity supplier.
They will be requesting to upgrade the electricity meter at your home. It’s crucial that you get in touch with your supplier as soon as possible to arrange for a new meter to be installed before 30th June.

As your landlord, we know which homes are heated by electricity or storage heaters. However, the electricity supply and the type of meter installed in your home are managed by your electricity supplier.
We cannot arrange the meter switchover on your behalf. Your supplier will need access to your home, so you must contact them directly to make arrangements.
